Responsibilities

o Specialty:

• Gastroenterology Physician

o Clinic, Call, or Both:

• Call

o Schedule:

• Monday morning to the following Monday morning for two weeks per month. The locum will cover the hospital, ED, and phone calls from sites across our health system when they are on duty.

o Cases/Procedures:

• Approximately 4-8 consults/rounds per day

• Anesthesia is in house 24/7

o Clinical support:

• 3 IR physicians

• APP support Monday-Thursday

o EMR:

• Epic

o Required experience, training, and certifications:

One year actively practicing as a Gastroenterologist

o Case Logs:

• 24 patients encounters in the past 12 months

o Consider IMLC or waiting for a license:

• MI License or IMLC required

o Credentialing Timeframe:

• Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date
